April 21, 2007 - Santa Clarita, CA

David appeared on a panel to discuss Ray Bradbury, science fiction, and writing. The event was held at the Santa Clarita Community Center as part of the National Endowment for the Arts Big Read initiative. The other panelists were Harry Turtledove, Steven Gould, David Gerrold, Sheila Finch, and Sam Weller.

February 7, 2005 - New York, NY

David appeared at the South Street Seaport Museum to read his fiction alongside other members of the 8th of February Group (a Manhattan-based writers group) as part of the NYRSF reading series.

David's short story "Lest We Forget" was shot as a short film. The film, written by David and directed by Brian Barr, was screened at the 2002 New York International Independent Film and Video Festival.
